Mitch started his career at Walsall Football Club coming up through the youth ranks.

He made his first team debut for the Saddlers in April 2017 as a 16 year old and scored the first of eight senior goals in July that year.

He had loan spells at Blackburn Rovers, Nuneaton Borough and Alvechurch before being released by Walsall at the end of last season. He joins the Tigers from Stafford Rangers
