The form book was turned on it’s head at the Project Solar Stadium, as Mickleover, who were in the relegation places, were comprehensive 4-1 winners over Hyde United who were unbeaten in six matches. 

Mickleover took the lead on 22 minutes when a deep free kick was floated into the box, Hyde failing to clear their lines and Mills on the edge of the box finished into the bottom corner. 

They then doubled their lead only a few minutes later after a drop ball is taken quickly and crossed into the box, and Watt attacked the ball first and headed past Ellison, who looked at his defence in disbelief. 

Hyde, trailing at half time will have wanted to start the half quickly but found themselves 3-0 down on 48 minutes. Roscoe was adjudged by the linesman, and not the referee who originally waved the appeal away, to have fouled his man and Warren stepped up to place the penalty past Ellison. 

The tigers looked to have found a slight opening back into the game with 20 minutes remaining as Roscoe redeemed himself glancing a header in the back of the net from a deep free kick. 

However, any hopes of a comeback were swiftly dashed as Mickleover found their fourth. A corner was floated into the box, Ellison was rooted to his line, feeling he was fouled as he tried to claim and missed the cross allowing Watt to find the net from two yards, for his second of the game.
